Spiderman Pose

This is the front view of my Spiderman.

This is the side view of my Spiderman.

This is the back view of my Spiderman.

This is the front pose of my Spiderman! I decided to use this pose as i think this would suit as doing this pose would require me to use most of the joints such as elbow, shoulder, knees, foot, arms, fingers and the head.

At first i had some difficulty doing this as i had just gotten used to the controls on which joints are to be moved and how much to move them as we had to do a few Spiderman poses.

Project 2 : Mani Walk Cycle

Here is the walk cycle of my character animation project

Reflections

I encountered a bit of problem when i first started on my project. First thing i thought to myself was, this is not as easy as it looks. I began the walking with the legs apart. It was difficult to make the distance the same until i realized the values can be played around with. The walking animation was tricky as everytime i made a new movement. I always forgot to set the key frame for it and resulting that i have to redo my project. I done the project for about 2-3 times already before i finally managed to get all the steps correctly. I was unable to do it at first as i was very confused. I did the legs first but when i was doing it half way, I suddenly changed and did the arms. I confused myself and had to restart the whole animation.

This is the side view for my Mani Walk cycle character animation.

This is the front view for my part 2 of the project. The Emotional Walk Cycle

This is the side view for my emotional walk cycle.

Reflections
The emotional walk cycle was more tricky compared to the walk cycle. I had to think of an emotion which can fit the project specifications. So i finally decided to do an angry emotion. I have the idea of the character swinging his arms and walking in an angry manner. When my guy is angry, he will hunch forward a little and his arms are bent at the joints. Thus there is the elbow being bent. I finally managed

3DPF National Security Competition StoryBoarding

This is the password part of our video to tell the users never to share password with anybody even if they are your closest friend. For all you know, the person closest to you could harm you the most.
This is the email part of our video. This is to show the users not to open any unknown emails or spam mails they have received. These may contain viruses which might crash or harm your computer and causing you to lose all your data.

This is the firewall part of the video. This part will explain to the users that having a firewall to protect your computer will do you good as it protects your computer from virus attacks so your computer will not crash due to the virus attack.

Splitting of work

Lester will be doing the 3D modelling of the vines which we have thought to be the virus in our video.
JinWen will be doing the 3D text
Susie will be doing the luminous shield, also known as firewall in our video.
Bryan (Me) will be doing the explosion scene to show that the computer have exploded from the virus.
Arif will be doing the introduction scene as well as the transition scenes.

Production
Our group finished the filming in less than a day. Even though we finished in just a day, there were many challenges like which position we should place our camera at, the venue to film. Last but not least, we also had to retake many shots due to the NG scenes which we kept laughing.

Post-Production
My computer had an error, i could not find the tutorials for my explosion thus i had to improvise on it. I searched for a explosion video and had to adjust till it fits my part of the video. I followed the tutorial from videocopilot.net as closely as i could. I managed to do it in a day however there were some faults and I had to redo my effects from scratch.

After i have finished with my explosion effect, i compiled my videos and submitted to Lester (Group Leader), to compile with everyone's work before we viewed again to confirmed if this was the work we are about to submit.

Reflection
I had fun with the filming and working with new group members. I did not work with any of my current group members before and thus it was a fun experience for me. For a first time working with these bunch of people, we did not have much conflict. we agreed with all of the ideas that each of us gave and further more, we combined the ideas and improved further. Not only did we managed to say it, we managed to do the effects out as well. Yes it was tough but we did it.
